I read about this today as well. It kind of made me laugh because it's so absurd, but then I got sad because those babies won't have it easy one day.

However, from my psychologist point of view, it's astounding what must go on in these girls' brains. Especially since they apparently recruited some hobo to do the job. Natural selection? Say it ain't so.

It's definitely a good reason i don't follow the news unless i hear it from others. I was boggled in my senior year of high school that kids didn't know a Period meant Stop. Then i was boggled that kids were so retarded that they'd choose to go to a movie to talk, rather than a coffee shop or denny's. Then boggled over 2nd graders with cellphones.

i agree... they are comming out with a reality show where teens that want to have kids now go through raising other people kids and go through the ages so they see what its like to be a parent.. i think its sooooooo needed

How can they blame it on Juno? If anything it was how their parents raised them. I just wonder what goes on in the heads of 13-16 year olds anymore....

I blame it on right wing conservative christian taboo on anything sexual.
I also blame it on the lack of education on contraceptives and STDs.
Sex is part of life and reproduction and it needs to be taught.
I also blame parents for not talking to their kids about it and just expecting schools to be the only ones teaching anything about it.
I think the kids themselves can be blamed for part of it too. They know what they are doing, they just don't understand the consequences of their actions.
I think schools should give out BC and condoms to any student that asks for it.
I don't blame movies like Juno at all. I think that movie was made to create awareness about the situation not to promote it.

I doubt anyone is that daft to watch juno and associate teenage pregnancy with only laughs and fun, unless they have a serious lack of common sense or something. Did you just watch a news report or something?
